Nature of Work: Sapling development, supervision, maintenance & transportation Requirements: No experience or qualifications are required. Training will be provided.

No. of Vacancies: 12
Nature of Work: public speaking, organizing and conducting public meetings Education Qualification: SSLC, +2 & any degree
Preferred Age: 16 to 30
Requirements: Must love and care for trees and the environment, have interest in community work, be enthusiastic, willing to travel and able to work as a member of a team, two wheeler driving license

PGH Head Office

We seek volunteers or students for internship in the following areas in the main office:

• Event organisation
• Creation of training tools
• GIS, data processing
• Accounting, budgeting
• Communications - from designing brochures, to writing press releases, to processing and translating data from the field into reports, preparing Power Point presentations
• Some basic video editing

Requirements:

• Fluency in English
• Some knowledge of Tamil for video editing (subtitles and translation of field interviews), although not mandatory
• Interest in environment and community work
• Knowledge in PowerPoint and publishing software
• Knowledge in botany, organic farming and /or pedagogy and creativity will be very helpful
