Yves Rocher Foundation

Yves Rocher Foundation, France has been the biggest donor for Project GreenHands. Under their campaign “PLANT FOR THE PLANET” they have committed to plant 50 million trees all over the world in support of the “Billion Tree Campaign” led by the UNEP.

Project GreenHands has the privilege of being their biggest planting partner for a partnership of planting 15 million trees.

Over the past decade, the commitment of Foundation Yves Rocher, which started with 300,000 trees, through the project named “One School, One Arboretum” in France, has grown up to the plantation of 50 million trees through various organizations worldwide.

They are also encouraging their 30 million women customers worldwide to join their action through a marketing campaign and online donation facility passing on to customers the message that the world at large need trees to preserve water, biodiversity, wildlife habitat, combat soil erosion and desertification and provide natural resources to humanity.

PwC

In 2011, as part of the Beyond Sport – award package, Project GreenHands received support from Price Waterhouse Coopers, UK. A team of 3 consultants from PwC were sent to India on a 2 week mission to host a series of workshop sessions for exploring project management, coaching and mentoring the team for networking.

As an extension for this, PwC India has supported PGH by a grant for producing and distributing 25,000 saplings in agroforestry model during 2011
